The publisher of Alariya Oodua, Lanre ‘Dodo’ Balogun is dead. Dodo, often referred to as the father of Yoruba entertainment journalism in Nigeria, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the age of 55.
Dodo, who hailed from Ogun State was a pioneer staff of Alaroye before he co-founded Akede Odua and later floated his outfit, Alariya Oodua, known for incisive interviews with top entertainers.
Dodo is survived by his wife and children.
