You will recall that the lawyer, accused of slicing her husband’s throat on 2nd February, 2016, has been entering the courtroom shielded from curious eyes by a piece of cloth covering her face.
While also adjourning the case till April 18, 2016, the judge promised a fair and balanced hearing for the case. He said that the case is a public one and nobody would sweep it under the carpet.
A statement credited to Hon. AdelaniAjanaku, a senior member of the family, confirms the presence of prosecution witnesses in today’s hearing. They include the late Lowo’s landlord, the doctor, landlady, and one of their neighbours.
The judge is said to have promised accelerated hearing of the matter. Today’s session was very brief.
Originally, this hearing was billed for tomorrow (24th) but it was adjusted at short notice. No explanation was given for the change of date.
