The Chairman, House Committee on Health Services of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Segun Olulade has commiserated with the Nigerian actor, Prince Jide Kosoko, over the death of his wife, Henrietta Kosoko, who died on Monday morning.

Olulade, who represents Epe Constituency II in the Assembly, said in a statement issued on Tuesday to commiserate with the Kosoko's family that the death of late Henrietta's came as a rude shock.
While describing the incident as unfortunate, Olulade noted that the deceased, who was also an actress, celebrated her 53rd birthday only last week, "receiving the news of her death yesterday came as a shock.
"It is very unfortunate and saddening that she had to die at a time when the family still want her very much around.

"This is a woman who has played a vital role in the development of the entertainment industry in Nigeria. I am very sure that Nollywood will miss her expertise.
"The husband of the deceased, Prince Jide Kosoko is a brother and very close friend. I commiserate with him and the entire family and I pray that the Almighty God will grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
"I also commiserate with Nollywood, especially the Yoruba movie industry on the loss of one of them. It is a time of sober reflection. I pray that such occurrence will not happen again. We shall all live to ripe ages and eat the fruit of our labours," the statement added.
