Mother arrested For Putting Her Son Through Severe Torture & Even Bought His Casket While He's Alive

A woman whose son's 'terminal illness' prompted national media coverage and even a visit from a wrestling superstar has been arrested on accusations of causing him serious bodily injury.
Danita Tutt, 40, of Cleburne, Texas, is accused of lying about her 13-year-old son's medical condition to doctors, prompting the boy to undergo unnecessary surgeries and be placed on unneeded pain medications, reports WTSP.

The surgeries included the placement of a central line which later led a life-threatening blood infection, police have alleged.
She is also accused of starving him and withholding water.
Tutt was arrested in her home in Johnson County, Texas, Friday by fugitive officers, according to supervisor of the crimes against children unit, Sgt. Wade Walls. She is being held on a $25,000 bond.
Colby and his younger brother had already been taken into custody on May 6 following a report that the Colby had been removed from Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, where he was receiving palliative care.
The 41-year-old had been allegedly refusing to feed and provide water for Colby and had already made funeral arrangements for him, even going as far as to buy him a casket.
According to CPS documents obtained by The Star Tribune, Tutt is an 'attention-seeking type person' who enjoys 'the attention she gets for having a medically fragile child'.
