Colombia defeated Nigeria 2-0 in the men’s football event at the Rio Olympics on Wednesday night.

Despite the defeat, Nigeria goes through to the knockout phase of the Olympics as group winners as Colombia picks second spot. 
Nigeria put up a poor showing against Colombia and deserved to lose.
Japan and Sweden are going home.
