Man Utd’s Guillermo Varela sent off for getting a tattoo

Manchester United loanee Guillermo Varela has been suspended from Eintracht Frankfurt , after a tattoo-induced injury ruled him out of the German cup final.

The footballer inked his arm this week, despite the club ordering him not to.According to German paper Kicker, the tattoo has become infected, meaning Varela is not fit for the Cup final.

And the club, furious that Varela has managed to rule himself out of the biggest game of the season, have suspended the player and are likely to send him back to United.

The tattoo is not even finished, with the studio Skull Tattoostudio Bad Vilbel revealing to Kicker that Varela was booked in for 'several sessions'

Frankfurt confirmed Varela's 'gross negligent behaviour', with club director Fredi Bobic saying the club had been hoping to extend the loan, but will now reconsider.
'Contrary to clear instructions from the coach Niko Kovac, Varela on the last free Monday got a tattoo, which has now become infected,' said the statement.
